About Qasr Al Watan
Qasr Al Watan is the working Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi, opened to the public in 2019 — a vast white-granite palace with a great hall, library and gardens.
Qasr Al Watan, "Palace of the Nation", sits within the Presidential Palace compound at the end of the Abu Dhabi Corniche. Visitors can walk through the Great Hall beneath its 37-metre dome, see the rooms used for official summits, and visit the library and exhibits of manuscripts and diplomatic gifts.
A shuttle takes you from the visitor centre to the palace. On some evenings a light and sound show is projected onto the façade.
