About Palm Jumeirah
Palm Jumeirah is Dubai’s palm-shaped artificial island — home to Atlantis, beach clubs, the Palm Monorail and the Boardwalk.
Built from reclaimed land in the early 2000s, Palm Jumeirah is made up of a trunk, 16 fronds and an outer crescent. Hotels and resorts line the crescent, with Atlantis, The Palm at its tip; apartment buildings and Nakheel Mall sit on the trunk.
You can drive on, or take the Palm Monorail from the mainland to Atlantis. The View at The Palm, on level 52 of The Palm Tower, is the place to see the palm shape from above. The Pointe and Club Vista Mare have waterfront restaurants.
