About Burj Khalifa
At 828 metres, Burj Khalifa in Downtown Dubai is the tallest building in the world, with observation decks that look out over the city, the desert and the Gulf.
Burj Khalifa opened in January 2010 and still holds the record as the world’s tallest building, rising 828 metres above Downtown Dubai. Visitors go up from the lower ground floor of The Dubai Mall to the "At the Top" observation decks on levels 124 and 125, or higher to the lounge level on 148.
The tower anchors a district built around it: The Dubai Mall is at its foot, the Dubai Fountain plays on the lake in front of it every evening, and Dubai Opera is a short walk away. Sunset slots cost more and sell out first, so most people book a timed ticket online a few days ahead.
