About Jebel Hafeet
Jebel Hafeet is the mountain that rises over Al Ain, with a famous hairpin road to a summit viewpoint about 1,200 metres up.
Jebel Hafeet stands on the edge of Al Ain along the border with Oman. The Jebel Hafeet Mountain Road, with around 60 bends over nearly 12 kilometres, is one of the best-known driving roads in the region and ends at a car park and viewpoint.
At the foot of the mountain are the Green Mubazzarah hot springs and the Jebel Hafeet Desert Park, where 5,000-year-old beehive tombs form part of Al Ain’s UNESCO World Heritage listing.
