About Expo City Dubai
Expo City Dubai is the legacy site of Expo 2020 — home to Al Wasl Plaza’s giant dome, the Terra and Alif pavilions and the Garden in the Sky tower.
After Expo 2020 closed in March 2022, its site in Dubai South reopened as Expo City. The steel dome of Al Wasl Plaza is lit with projections after dark, and several flagship pavilions remain: Terra on sustainability, Alif on mobility, and the Vision and Women’s pavilions.
The site is at the end of the Dubai Metro Red Line and hosts concerts, markets and seasonal events.
