About Alserkal Avenue
Alserkal Avenue in Al Quoz is Dubai’s arts district — converted warehouses housing contemporary galleries, an independent cinema, studios and cafés.
What began as a row of industrial warehouses now holds dozens of contemporary art galleries, design studios, a community theatre, the independent Cinema Akil, and speciality coffee shops and restaurants.
Gallery entry is free and exhibitions change every few weeks. The district is at its liveliest during gallery nights and Dubai’s art season in March.
