About Al Ain Palace Museum

Al Ain Palace Museum is the former home of Sheikh Zayed, the UAE’s founding father, on the edge of Al Ain Oasis.

Sheikh Zayed lived in this palace until 1966, before he became Ruler of Abu Dhabi. The low, ochre-coloured buildings are arranged around courtyards and gardens, with reception rooms, family quarters and a schoolroom furnished as they were.
