About Sharjah Art Museum
Sharjah Art Museum is one of the largest art museums in the UAE, showing modern and contemporary Arab art in the heart of the city’s Arts Area.
Opened in 1997, the museum has a permanent collection of works by leading Arab artists alongside a wing of 18th and 19th-century Orientalist paintings, plus temporary exhibitions. It is a venue for the Sharjah Biennial.
