About Kite Beach
Kite Beach in Umm Suqeim is Dubai’s most active public beach — kitesurfing, a long running track, a skate park, food trucks and views of Burj Al Arab.
The beach is named for the kitesurfers who use its steady afternoon wind. Along the sand there are beach volleyball courts, paddleboard and kayak hire, a skate park, an outdoor gym and a 14-kilometre cushioned running track that continues along Jumeirah’s coast.
A strip of cafés and food trucks sits behind the beach, and showers, toilets and changing rooms are free.
