About Al Qudra Lakes
Al Qudra Lakes are man-made desert lakes in the Al Marmoom reserve south of Dubai, popular for picnics, birdwatching, cycling and sunsets.
The lakes attract more than a hundred bird species, including flamingos and swans, and oryx and gazelle are often seen nearby. The 86-kilometre Al Qudra Cycle Track starts close by, with bike hire at the trailhead. Love Lake, two lakes shaped as interlocking hearts, is a short drive further in.
