About Mall of the Emirates
Mall of the Emirates in Al Barsha is the mall with the indoor ski slope — Ski Dubai — plus more than 600 shops, a theatre and a large cinema.
Opened in 2005 on Sheikh Zayed Road, Mall of the Emirates is best known for Ski Dubai, whose snow slope is visible through windows from the food court. The mall has a strong luxury wing, department stores, Magic Planet for children and the Dubai Community Theatre & Arts Centre.
It has its own Red Line metro station and two attached hotels.
