About Snoopy Island
Snoopy Island is a rocky islet just off Al Aqah Beach in Fujairah and one of the best easy snorkelling spots in the UAE.
Named because its outline is said to resemble the cartoon dog lying on his back, the island is a short swim or kayak from the shore. The rocks around it have coral, reef fish, turtles and occasionally blacktip reef sharks. Dive centres on the beach rent snorkelling gear and run dives.
