About Ajman Museum
Ajman Museum is housed in an 18th-century fort that served as the ruler’s palace and later a police station.
The fort was the home of Ajman’s ruling family until 1970. Its rooms now show traditional life in the emirate: a reconstructed souk, weapons, manuscripts, pearl-diving equipment and archaeological finds, with wind towers cooling the courtyard.
